Biography[]
Arii no longer fights for Mother Russia, he fights for himself. Once a Red Army standout, Arii found an easy way to make money once the Cold War ended: working for the Russian mob. For the same reason, he left Russia and came to America. Brutal and ruthless, he has made a name for himself in the land of fortune and opportunity by punishing mob rivals. On the fight circuit, Arii has built a personal fortune, stomping opponents and showing America how a Russian takes care of business.
Role In Def Jam Vendetta[]
Arii did not play a significant role in story mode. At a certain time in story mode, he challenges the player to a fight alongside Ruffneck.
Fighting Style[]
Arii's fighting style could be said to be sambo ambo (Russian: Cамбо, is an acronym for САМозащита Без Оружия "SAMozashchita Bez Orúzhiya", which literally means "self defense without weapons" in Russian, a combat and self-defense system developed in the former Soviet Union). Obviously this fighting style has been adapted as wrestling, a mixture of this with Submissions.
